Sayoko and her pup Ichiko Were welcoming hosts. The high calibre of food she presented us was amazing, if anything too much. The weather was good for a mountain walk, taking in the scenery

From start to finish, our stay with the Nakajima family was perfect. We had some trouble getting to the farm, but our hosts were extremely patient and helpful, giving us lifts to/from the train station. The farm itself is in a beautiful remote location. It's a great place to relax and breathe the mountain air. The company is even better. The family are so kind and looked after us so well - cooking delicious meals and letting us try all kinds of delicacies. They showed us some truly magical views around the island, and we had a lot of fun chatting and meeting friends, despite the language barrier. We will treasure these memories of our stay, and would encourage everyone to visit!

It was pleasant to spend my 4 days with this family, home cooked meals were amazing, never ever felt hungry in this trip. Very much recommended.

What a glorious and amazing experience with the Nakajima’s! The home in way up high on top of a mountain. The ride up seemed endless. However, the view and fresh air is completely worth the winding narrow ride. The Nakajimas’ were gracious and so accommodating. The food was fabulous, and the mother and son team was so very special. We appreciated the old town tour and the visit to the oldest temple our first day. We are honored to have been accepted to be part of this gentle and kind family for four memorable days.

We had the most amazing experience at our farmstay with Sayoko. After picking us up from the train station, she showed us around her farm and cooked the most delicious dinner. The next day, she drove us around town and brought us to see some of the highlights in the area. Sayoko was so kind and works so hard to make us feel like family. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back soon.
