M-1 东京 大森东

京急平和島駅から近く、お惣菜屋さんが斜め向かいにあり、コンビニも遠くなく、便利でした。
隣や廊下の音はほとんど気になりませんでしたが、道路は若干音が聞こえます。
キッチンにIHかガスコンロがあれば完璧と思いましたが、料金が上がる位だったら、今のままがいいと思います。
2週間の滞在を3週間に伸ばしていただきましたが、対応も迅速丁寧でした。
オススメです。

Excellent Service! Due to a grievous miscalculation of time difference on my part, we ended up arriving in Tokyo a day later than what I had booked. Unfortunately I did not realize this until I was on the plane and unable to communicate the problem to M-1 until we landed for a layover. By this time the M-1 staff had already been awaiting my arrival several hours and was deeply concerned that I might be lost. On top of this when I finally did arrive in Tokyo it took longer than I thought to get things together at the NRT (customs, bags, rail pass) and it was getting late by the time we made it to 平和島駅, so I was fully expecting to find my own way to the apartment. However to my great surprise (to spite the previous day’s mistake, today’s tardiness, and the rain) M-1 Staff was awaiting my arrival at the station well past operating hours to help us to the apartment!
The apartment was very nice. The building itself is new (2017), everything is clean, and it is well stocked. The room had two western style beds, a Japanese style bathroom (toilet separate from tub/shower room), television, AC/heat, kitchenette, and balcony. 平和島駅 (Heiwajima Station) is very close by and 大森駅 (Omori Station) is a comfortable 1mi (1.7km) walk away for JR users. There are also nearby a convince store, ￥100 store, arcade, and many places to grab a bite to eat (including some western options). 平和の森公園 (Heiwanomori Park), a decent sized park with a myriad of facilities, is only a few blocks away as well.
The quiet residential area served as a perfect home base for exploring Japan as it is not too far away from larger stations (like Shinagawa or Tokyo Station) yet far enough away that it is not overcrowded or noisy. It was well worth the price of the stay, and I would love to stay with Tokyo M-1 again should I ever make my way back to Japan in the future!
